Today at lunch I got a phone call from my dad.

Me: "Hey Dad, what's up?"

Dad: "How was lockup?"

Me: "Shit."

Even after the great lengths I had gone through so that he wouldn't find out, the great state of Arizona took it upon themselves to mail him a notice, including my BAC level. Fan-fucking-tastic. I don't really care that he knows, but my entire family has loose lips and it's only a matter of time until my mom, who is mormon, finds out. That's when it gets bad. I'm twenty seven years old. And they tell my parents? Are you kidding? Do they think my parents are going to ground me? Cut me off financially again?

Dad: "That's ok, it happens to the best of them. And it's not like your sister hasn't been in jail."

*This is true. She.... well let's just say there was an arms charge involved and she was caught at the Canadian border trying to flee the country.*
